We mentioned in our
last newsletter, the Conference Center at The Wharf opened in February and it
has been going strong since. This summer and for the next 4 summers they host
a large youth retreat each week from June through mid-July. The groups range in
size from 600-2000. Of course this still leaves prime meeting dates of late July
and the month of August (and the rest of the year) open for your future meetings.
They are a great spot for religious meetings of all types and sizes. Caribe
the Resort opened a new restaurant on their property called Cobalt. We hosted
about 50 people in their private dining area overlooking the bay. They are pleased
to accommodate and work with groups for small meetings and off-site meal functions.
They are also the exclusive caterers for meetings at Caribe and you won’t
be disappointed in the food! Many new restaurants have opened at The Wharf
this summer. In addition they have added a Zip-line and Ropes Course and the Hippo
(a 36ft high slide). It is a great meeting spot, location for off-site functions
or for families to enjoy while a loved one is in a meeting!
